My scientific interests have broadly focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying eukaryotic gene expression pathways. As a passionate RNA biologist, I have been excited to merge my background in RNA-based gene regulation to the study of complex models of infection and host innate immune pathways in the GLab. My research specifically focuses on characterizing the functional roles of herpesvirus activated non-coding RNAs within host anti-viral responses.
